Urgent – Suicide bomber kills 8 Iraqi Policemen in Tikrit

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) Eight policemen were killed or wounded when a car bomb exploded in the Shurqat district of Tikrit.

Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) ”The car bomb, which was driven by a suicide bomber, exploded targeting a house of a police Colonel while he was leaving his house to participate in a security operation in Shurqat district.”

”The Colonel was killed while seven policemen were wounded due to the car bomb explosion,” the source added.”The security forces blocked off the explosion area transporting the dead body to the morgue and the wounded to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.ource concluded.
