Jawad 2nd Iraqi athlete to win Asian Games medal since 1960

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi weight lifter Karrar Mohammed Jawad became the second Iraqi athletic to win an Olympic medal after the first medal won by the weight lifter Abdul Wahid Aziz in Rome Olympic Games of 1960.

Karrar Mohammed Jawad won on Monday the bronze medal for 69 Kg weight scoring 148 kg and 177 kg and total of 325 kg in the weight lifting game within the Asian Games 0f Incheon 2014 in South Korea.

Karrar M. Jawad came second behind the Chinese King Feng Lin who scored a total of 342 kg.

Karrar Mohammed Jawad considers the 2014 Asian Games 0f Incheon as a step for preparing for Reo De Janiro Olympic Games.
