Diyala police destroys IS vehicle near Baqubah

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) Diyala Police Command announced on Sunday destroying a vehicle belonging to the self-proclaimed Islamic State group, east of Baqubah.
Police Chief Major General Jassim al-Saadi, said in a press statement, “Forces from Diyala police conducted search operations on the villages of Ghuzayel and Sakhoul in Hamrin Mountains (59 km east of Baqubah), resulting in the destruction of a vehicle belonging to the Islamic State group.”
“Diyala Police Operations continue tracking the Islamic State’s militants, as well as destroying their vehicles and secret hideouts, based on accurate intelligence information,” Saadi added.
Earlier today, a male’s body, killed by firing squad, was found near Juba Shahban, northeast of Baqubah.
