Iranian embassy: million and 100.000 Iranian visitors arrived in Iraq for Arbain ceremony

(IraqiNews.com) A source at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad said, that the number of Iranian pilgrims coming to Karbala to perform the Arbain visit has reached  one million and one hundred thousand visitors until Sunday.

The source stated that, the number of visitors during the next three days is expected to reach nearly a million and a half million visitors.

On Sunday, the Director of Relations and Media Border Crossings, Col. Mohammed Awad said to IraqiNews.com, “The number of arrivals from abroad to perform the ceremony visit of Arbain on Thursday exceeded 164.000 visitors of Arabs and foreigners. The visitors’ number on December 5th reached 56.586 visitors of Iranians, Arabs and foreigners.”
