Iraq will be divided to three parts, says US Republican candidate
Presidential candidate for the US elections for the Republican Party, John Kasich
(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The presidential candidate for the US elections for the Republican Party, John Kasich, announced on Tuesday, that Iraq will divided into three parts, pointing out that the US President Barack Obama was supposed to keep one base in Iraq before withdrawing forces in 2011.
“CNN” quoted Kasich as saying, “I would not intervene in the Iraqi file, as you can see now, and Iraq will mostly end up to the division of three parts.”
Concerning his opinion about the US President Barack Obama’s decision to withdraw US troops from Iraq, Kasich said, “It was necessary for us to maintain one base in Iraq, at least.”
