Ankara (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that an independent Kurdish state in northern Iraq would pose a threat to the region and turn it into a “mess”; the border change would bring wars upon the neighboring countries.

Ihsanoglu said in a statement to the German newspaper ‘Frankfurter,’ followed by IraqiNews.com, ” The existence of an independent Kurdish state would put the region at risk and turn it into a mess,” noting that, “Border change would bring wars upon the neighboring countries and this is the reason why the border area should remain the same as it is now,”

In reference to the Kurds of Turkey, Davutoglu said, “Everyone in Turkey has the right to participate in the political process,” adding that, “All communities in Turkey are satisfied with our political system.”

Ihsanoglu stated, “Over the past 12 years, we have met the wishes of the people and we have changed our educational system to allow the use of the Kurdish language to the Turkish side in private schools, and we will continue to remove barriers before the Kurdish language.”

  1. The region is already at risk from ISIL, at risk from an Iranian control Iraqi army made up of Shiite militias, at risk from a nuclear Iran and the proliferation of nukes in the region, and at risk from Turkey doing everything in its power to keep Kurd’s under the thumbs of Iranians, Arabs and Turks. Yes Mr. Davutoglu it is, if the Kurdish’s can’t have what everyone else have.

  2. Keep on talking idiocy and after the Kurds’ make sausage out of your friends they may well have enough arms to make their home. And as they are looking like our only true friends in the entire middle east we may just help them to get rid of not only Syriaqi but carve out whatever they desire of your territory.
