Russian Defense Ministry announces suspension of cooperation channels with Turkish army

( Baghdad – The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Thursday the suspension of all cooperation channels with the Turkish army.

The news agency “Tass” quoted the ministry as saying that “all cooperation channels with the Turkish military have been suspended including the Hotline, which was established for the exchange of information about the Russian air strikes in Syria.”

Russia has also threatened of economic response to Turkey and said that it is still waiting for a logical explanation for shooting down its warplane on Tuesday.

  1. The Hotline was established between Turkey and Russia for such situations yet Turkey did not call Russia up on this when plane to plane communications for some unknown reason failed to work.
