(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Saturday, Spanish police confirmed the arrest of a Moroccan girl at the age of 18 years, claiming that she was preparing to travel to Syria to join ISIS.

The Associated Press Agency quoted a statement from the Spanish police as saying that “The girl has been arrested in the coastal town of ganja near the city of Valencia.”

The agency added that: “this incident is the latest in a series of arrests of sympathizers with ISIS.”

It is estimated that more than 100 people from Spain have joined ISIS in Iraq and Syria.
