Turkey’s parliament votes to join international coalition against ISIS

Ankara (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, the Turkish parliament voted on Turkey’s accession to the International Alliance against the so-called the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

The Iraqi state television said in a newsflash followed by IraqiNews.com “the Turkish parliament voted on Turkey’s accession to the International Alliance against terrorism organization ISIS.”

On 29 September 2014, the Turkish Prime Minister Ahmed Davutoglu announced for sending two memoranda of authorization on the army military operations in Iraq and Syria, if they are necessary, to the presidency of the parliament for discussion.
