Aleppo (Syria News) The Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) launched new attacks against the Free Syrian Army and Turkish troops in Afrin area, in the countryside of Aleppo.

In a press statement released by the media office of the YPG, the Kurdish militia revealed the details of offensives carried out in Afrin in the second week of July.

The offensives started when the PG troops planted a landmine on a military road used by the Free Syrian Army and Turkish troops in Basela Village, killing 8 Turkish soldiers and wounding two others.
