1st Deputy Speaker calls impose sanctions against countries support ISIL terrorists

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The First Deputy Speaker, Haider Al-Abadi, called the international community to assist Iraq in its war against terrorism and to reveal as well as to impose sanctions against the countries supporting the terrorism.

In a statement received by Iraqi News, he said “The parliament will greatly be concerned over the suffering of the Yezidi community and other Christian, Shabak, and Turkmen communities in addition to the citizens of Sinjar and Zamar areas,” noting that “The parliament will help these displaced citizens.”

“Yezidi community is a basic component for the Iraqi society so it is our duty to help them while they are subject to a genocide by the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant terrorists,” he concluded.
