70,000 to take part in special voting in Basra

BASRA /Iraqi News A total of 70,000 voters will take part in the special voting in Basra, director of the Independent High Electoral Commission’s office in Basra said on Wednesday. “The number of citizens who have the right to vote in the special voting is 70,000 from security forces an patients in hospitals and prisoners,” Hazem al-Rubaie told Iraqi News. “All arrangements have been finalized for the event, which will be held under a full supervision of local and international supervisors to guarantee the integrity of elections,” he added.
