A joint goverment program between Dawlat al-Qanoon – Iraqi National Alliance

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Member of the Iraqi National Alliance (INA), Amer al-Faiz, said on Wednesday that the INA, along with the Dawlat al-Qanoon, headed by the outgoing Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, are activating joint committees to establish a government program. “We are currently working along with the Dawlat al-Qanoon in order to activate joint committees to agree on a government program following the announcement of their alliance, and to select the essential vocabulary to bring out a joint program to establish the largest bloc to form the government,” al-Faiz told IraqiNews.com news agency. “There will also be a committee which will establish the controls of coordination between the next government and the coalition between alliances for the post of prime minister, as well as to reach certain mechanisms in selecting the prime minister,” he added. “The Dawlat al-Qanoon is insisting on nominating al-Maliki, whilst the Iraqi National Coalition did not specify its candidate,” al-Faiz noted, pointing out that “what is important now is to establish a program and controls for the government’s action, which takes priority over other things.” Basra province lies 590 km to the south of Baghdad.
