Ahrar bloc doubts transparency of IHEC performance in PCs elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Ahrar Parlaimentary bloc doubted the transparency of the performance of the Independent High Electoral Commission during the Provincial Council elections.

The head of the bloc, Baha al-Araji, stated to IraqiNews.com “The performance of the IHEC was weak and different from the previous IHEC.”

“We received some complaints from voting centers that create doubts over the performance of the IHEC,” he added.

“The instructions issued by the IHEC make others doubt its performance but we will make sure when the results will be announced,” he concluded.
