Ahrar bloc gathers 100 signatures to support limiting 3 Presidencies’ terms

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ahrar bloc announced “Gathering 100 MPs’ signatures to endorse a law for limiting the terms of the three Presidencies.”

The head of the bloc, Baha al-Araji, stated during a press conference at the parliament “We have gathered 100 signatures to limit the terms of the President, Premier and the Speaker.”

“The aim behind such law is to solve many problems related to the administration of the State,” he concluded.

Earlier, the head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, called to limit the three Presidencies’ terms to two to avoid dictatorship.
