Ahrar bloc ready to mediate between Kurdistan RegionG, Federal Government

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Al-Ahrar bloc within Sadrist Trend announced that it will play a role in bringing the views closer between Kurdistani Alliance and the Kurdistan Region Government on one hand, and the Federal Government on other hand thorough dialogue and according to the Constitution.

The bloc announced that in a press statement by Ahrar bloc over the visit conducted by a delegation of al-Ahrar bloc headed by Baha al-Araji accompanied by other leaders in the bloc, to the leader in the Kuridtani Alliance and Deputy PM, Ruse Nori Shawis, on last Monday.

The statement cited “The two sides discussed the political crisis and how to resolve it by dialogue and in accordance with the Constitutional mechanisms. The meeting also discussed the regional situations and the Arabic crises especially that of Syria.”

“Ahrar bloc highlighted the need to settle all disputes between the central Government and the Kurdistan Region Government since these problems affect Iraq primarily, and hinder the two Governments in providing services to their citizens,” the statement added.

“The meeting also discussed the important law drafts that are of main significance to the political process in the country,” the statement concluded.
