Akili criticizes deleting MKO from US terrorism list

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aziz al-Akili, of the Citizen bloc criticized “Delegating the name of the Mujahedeen-e-Khalq Organization that is opposing the Iranian regime, from the US terrorism list.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “This will encourage terrorism as it shows the double dealing of America.”

“The US is responsible of the MKO crimes committed against the Iraqis,” he added, stressing that “On Iraq and international level, MKO is well known as a terrorist organization.”

“The MKO will remain as a terrorist group for Iraqis who know its history well,” he concluded.

Earlier, the US Secretary of State has announced deleting MKO from the terrorist organizations’ list classified by the US Secretary of State.
