Al-Iraqiya Leader proposes on Iraq’s PM to raise U.S. withdrawal from Iraq on Parliament

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Leader of al-Iraqiya Coalition, Iyad Allawi, has proposed on Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, to take what he described as a “brave decision,” about the U.S. troops withdrawal from Iraq on an open Parliament session, charging him with “escaping from the implementation of the partnership agreement between both Coalitions.”   “The American withdrawal from Iraq has become a point of conflict, due to the government’s failure to protect the country’s security,” Allawi told Al-Arab newspaper on Sunday.   He called on Maliki to “take a brave and clear decision, to raise the U.S. withdrawal issue on an open session of the Parliament, along with speaking clearly about the reason that caused the failure of his government to build the Army, internal security, the law and justice bodies, over the past 5 years, while he enjoyed the role of the Commander-in-Chief.”   Allawi also charged Maliki with having been “escaping from the implementation of the agreement on national-partnership.”   “This man (Maliki) had never been a partner for us or our movement, because we represent contradicting programs, though that this issue won’t affect our course to serve Iraq and its people,” Allawi said.   SKH (IT)         551 BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Leader of al-Iraqiya Coalition, Iyad Allawi, has proposed on Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, to take what he described as a “brave decision,” about the U.S. troops withdrawal from Iraq on an open Parliament session, charging him with “escaping from the implementation of the partnership agreement between both Coalitions.”   “The American withdrawal from Iraq has become a point of conflict, due to the government’s failure to protect the country’s security,” Allawi told Al-Arab newspaper on Sunday. SKH (IT)
