THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki arrived in Thi-Qar on Friday to attend a tribal conference and to meet officials in the province, according to a source from the Thi-Qar provincial council. “Al-Maliki arrived in Nassiriya to attend a conference of Al Zurieg tribe which will be held at al-Nassiriya stadium,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The premier will head for Basra on Saturday to hold several meetings,” he added.
