Araji: \"Blocs rejecting increasing IHEC\

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Qasim al-Araji of the Iraqi National Alliance criticized the blocs rejecting to increase the number of the Independent High Electoral Commission’s members.

Speaking to Iraqi News, he said Friday “The parties and blocs rejecting to increase the members of the IHEC aim to continue its domination on the Commission which will double the suspicions over integrity of the electoral process.”

“These blocs should abandon their shares and their representatives in the IHEC in case they insist to keep the current number of IHEC’s members,” he stressed.
