Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of Ahrar bloc described holding the meetings of the Council of Ministers in the provinces as “Legal.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he stated “The CoM resembles the Iraqi government and it has the right to hold its meetings in any province in Iraq whether it was in Mousl, Kirkuk or Basra and these meetings are legal and normal.”

“We call the local and central governments not to be affected by the political disputes and to work as one team to achieve the best services to the Iraqi people,” he added.

Earlier, Maryam al-Rayis, the adviser of the Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, stated “The CoM will held its meeting on Tuesday in Nineveh to discuss the means of cooperation between the central government and the local government to perform the projects,” noting that “This meeting will be the same as those of Kirkuk and Basra provinces.”

MP, Mahdi Haji, of the Kurdistani Alliance revealed that “The Kurd Ministers will boycott the session of the Council of Ministers that will be held in Mosul on next Tuesday.”
