Araji: Jalili describes Syrian situation, its consequences

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of al-Ahrar bloc, Baha al-Araji, stated that the meeting of the Iraqi National Alliance with the Secretary General for the Iranian National Council held on Wednesday was to discuss the regional issues and the Syrian situation, assuring that “I will affect Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iraq.”

A statement by the INA cited “The head of the INA has made Iftar banquet in honor of Jalili and the accompanied delegation where the members of the political committee of INA have attended it.”

Araji said “Jalili described the Syrian situation and its consequences,” pointing out “The INA decided to have a neutral stance over this issue where the representatives of al-Ahrar bloc have shown this stance during the meeting.”

“The two sides confirmed the tranquility for Iraq and Iran in spite of the current situation in the region,” he concluded.
