Araji: Political Reforms proposal not documented in written paper

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadrist Trend denied existence of a written paper of the planned Political Reforms proposal that is being adopted by the Iraqi National Alliance.

The Head of the bloc, Bahaa al-Araji, stated to IraqiNews.com “There is no written document for the Reforms proposal till the moment and what is mentioned by the media outlets is incorrect.”

“This document must be written by all the political blocs where this proposal was adapted by the INA,” he added.

Concerning including the request of determining the terms of the three Presidencies, Araji described this request as “Constitutional and it was submitted to the Parliament for voting.”

Earlier, Al-Ahrar bloc announced that it collected (100) votes to prepare a draft law over limiting the three Presidencies.
