Asadi: Erbil meetings means Countdown to establish national government

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretary General of Ahrar bloc pointed out “Holding Erbil meetings means the countdown to establish national government to be formed by all political sides away from confessionalism and sectarianism.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The issue of withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, will not be conducted if Maliki launched the reformations which means the national partnership.”

Over the doubts raised over the five leaders’ ability to withdraw confidence from Maliki, he said “It is not difficult to gather the signatures of the majority in the parliament especially if the political sides have the will to complete withdrawing the confidence which is a constitutional process.”

The spokesperson of the IS, Maysoun al-Damlouji, stated to IraqiNews.com “We managed to get the required signatures to withdraw confidence from Maliki,” noting that “The MPs’ signatures were collected from all the blocs.”

It is worth mentioning that Kurdistan Region witnesses political movement to settle the crisis; among the solutions presented by the political sides in Kurdistan Region is to withdraw confidence from the government.
