Asadi expects holding five-side meeting in Najaf

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretary General of Ahrar bloc, Dhiya al-Asadi, expected “Holding a five-side meeting similar to the meeting held in Erbil if the meeting of the Iraqi National Alliance on Monday did not result in decisions to settle the political crisis.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “If the meeting of the INA resulted in decisions satisfy all sides, these decision will be adopted as a roadmap to settle the crisis,” noting that “If not, I expect holding a meeting by the sides held the meeting of Erbil.”

“The place for the meeting will be chosen through a mechanism accepted by all,” he added, stressing that “Najaf, as neutral province may be one the places expected to host the meeting.”

“I expect the head of the Sadr to call for this meeting though this issue is not announced yet,” he concluded.
