Asadi: Maliki’s visit to Talabani aims to check on his health condition

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Khalid al-Asadi, of the State of Law Coalition assured that “The visit of the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki to the President, Jalal Talabani was meant to check on his health condition and discuss the possibility of holding the national meeting.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he stated “Maliki’s visit was to check on the health condition of the President Talabani after undergoing the surgey on his knee in Germany.”

“The two sides discussed some political issues and the possibility of holding the national meeting in addition to discussing the regional updates,” he added.

Earlier, the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki has visited the President, Jalal Talabani in Sulaimaniyah on Wednesday.
