Asadi: Reforms proposal not fulfill ambitions of Iraqi people

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretary General of the political committee of the Sadr Trend, Dhiya al-Asadi, stated that the reforms proposal will not fulfill the ambitions of the Iraqi people in settling many crises in Iraq.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The proposal is not shown to the political blocs yet, but a primary agreement was made over it by the members of the Iraqi National Alliance.”

“We hope that the proposal to be under the supervision of the experts committee outside of the Executive and Legislative Authorities not from the parliament or the Council of Ministers,” pointing out “The reforms must be based on the laws and performed by the central government and the local governments to achieve a unified political stance over the political process.”

“The political process in Iraq is confused and the political blocs do not agree with each other and have no other solution except settling the political disputes because their continuity will not serve Iraq,” he concluded.
