Asadi: Reports over government ignorance to Erbil agreement "Groundless"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Khalid al-Asadi, of the State of Law Coalition stated that the reports over the ignorance of the government to Erbil agreement as “Groundless”.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Iraqi National Alliance is adherent to this agreement as much as it is participation in the political process as the other blocs do without having any other attitude towards others.”

“There are two issues related to the government that are the security ministries which are no related to Erbil agreement and the other one is the political stability which is related to the deals with the other blocs,” he added.

“The calls of the Iraqiya Slate to convince the judicially wanted Vice-President, Tariq al-Hashimi, to show up to the court is a good thing and we wish a fair trail for him,” he concluded.

The political scene witnesses recently a growing movement to solve the political crises started with the holding the five-side meeting in Erbil.

The head of Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, has participated in Erbil meeting which involved the President, Jalal Talabani, the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, and the as well as the head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, to discuss the political crisis.

The participants in the meeting sent a letter, including nine items, to the Iraqi National Alliance requesting Maliki to apply them within fifteen days otherwise they will withdraw confidence from him.
