Asadi threatens: Sides oppose Maliki to "suffer great loss"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Khalid al-Asadi, of the State of Law Coalition threatened that “The sides that seek withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, to face great loss.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “If the political blocs managed to gather the required number of MPs to withdraw confidence from Maliki, we will conduct an identical procedure that will lead to a great loss to the other sides.”

He ruled out “The agreement of the President, Jalal Talabani, on submitting a request to withdraw confidence from Maliki because this attempt threatens the political stability and the security situation.”

“The Iraqi National Alliance depends on its public supporters and political figures in confronting the challenges,” he concluded.

The spokesperson of the IS, Maysoun al-Damlouji, stated to IraqiNews.com “We managed to get the required signatures to withdraw confidence from Maliki,” noting that “The MPs’ signatures were collected from all the blocs.”

It is worth mentioning that Kurdistan Region witnesses political movement to settle the crisis; among the solutions presented by the political sides in Kurdistan Region is to withdraw confidence from the government.
