Askari: Anbar demonstrations not serious

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Sami al-Askari of the State of Law Coalition underestimated the impact of Anbar demonstrations on the general situation in the country.

Askari stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “We do not think that the current crisis is serious where part of those demonstrations is politicized for sake of electoral aims.”

“These protests are created and organized by inconsistent sides and some sides which are opponent for the total political process,” he added stressing “This is obvious through the demonstrations’ slogans where there is no harmonious and organized movement towards one goal.”
