Askari rules out success of upcoming Summit to be held in KSA over Syria

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The member of the Parliamentary Committee of Foreign Relation, Sami al-Askari, ruled out “The success of the upcoming Islamic Summit that will be held in Saudi Arabia over the Syrian crisis.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Summit that will be held in Mecca over Syrian situation will not result in reaching a settlement for the crisis because the case started to turn into an international.”

“The Iraqi initiative, which will participate in solving the crisis if considered, over Syria is still welcomed by the international community and the Arab League,” he concluded.

Earlier, the FMs of the Islamic Countries held a preparatory meeting for the 4th rotation of the Islamic Solidarity Organization in Saudi Arabia on last Monday.
