Askari: Talabani’s return to Iraq not to settle current crises

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Sami al-Askari of the State of Law Coalition ruled out possibility of solving the current political crisis in the country.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “Depending on the return of the President, Jalal Talabani, to the country to solve the crisis is not correct.”

“Talabani has no magical stick to solve the crisis if the political blocs have not the intention to cooperate with him to reach a satisfactory solution,” he added.

“According to my opinion, the crisis will continue till the next parliamentary elections,” he concluded.

Earlier, the Secretary of the Presidency office, Naseer al-Ani, confirmed that Talabani will return to Iraq soon.
