Atroushi to Majid: Barzani represents danger for Iraqi economy due to opposing Maliki’s policy

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Firhad al-Atroushi, of the Kurdistani Alliance criticized the statements of MP, Yasin Majid, of the State of Law Coalition over describing the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, as being “A danger to the security and economy of Iraq.”

In a press conference held at the parliament building on Monday, Atroushi said “Majid’s accusations against Barzani of being a danger to the security of Iraq because the latter opposes the policy of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, for establishing a new dictatorship and making a two- million army that is loyal to one political side not Iraq.”

“Majid’s accusations to Barzani of being a danger to the economy of Iraq resulted from the latter’s stances over wasting the public fund without providing the required services to the Iraqis,” he added.

Atroushi describes Majid’s statements as “A coverage to the governmental failure in providing the required services to the Iraqi people and eliminating terrorism in Iraq.”

MP, Yasin Majid, has accused Barzani of being “A danger to the economy and security of Iraq where he wants Kurdistan Region to have a powerful political role rather than Baghdad and the Pishmirga elements to replace the IA.”
