Barazani receives South Korean, French consuls

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barazani, separately discussed the mutual relations with the South Korean and French consuls.

A press statement by the Presidency of Kurdistan Region cited “Barazani received the new South Korean consul to Kurdistan Region and congratulated him for starting his new tasks, wishing him the success and assuring that the last period witnessed a great development in the mutual relations where the Kurdish people appreciate the services of the South Korean Olive Group.”

“The South Korean consul expressed his gratitude to work in Kurdistan Region, conveying the greetings of the people and government of South Korea to the people and government of Kurdistan Region where he discussed with Barazani the general situation in Iraq and the region with reference to the Syrian situation,” the statement added.

The statement pointed out “Barazani has also received the new French consul to Kurdistan Region, congratulating him in starting his new tasks and wishing him the success, confirming the support of Kurdistan Region for him to achieve the success in his post.”

“The French consul expressed his happiness to work in Kurdistan Region, expressing his readiness to develop the mutual relations between France and Kurdistan Region,” the statement concluded.
