Barzani calls for wide participation in Kurdistan Region parliamentary elections

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, called for wide participation in the parliamentary elections of Kurdistan Region.

In a public ceremony held for the candidates of Kurdistani Democratic Party in Sulaimaniya province, Barzani said “I would like to thank all the supporters of KDP for their efforts to ensure the success of the electoral campaign.”

“I know that you are subject to huge pressures but you have to adhere to the instructions of the Independent High Electoral Commission,” he added.

He concluded by “Urging the people of Kurdistan Region to participate in the elections to ensure dignity of Kurdistan Region.”
