Barzani confers with Kurdistan Forces on suspended issues with Baghdad

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Northern Iraq Kurdistan Region’s President, Massoud Barzani, had chaired a meeting of the Kurdish movements and parties in Arbil on Sunday to discuss the suspended issues between Arbil and Baghdad , the Spokesman for the Kurdish Goran (Change) opposition movement reported.   “Kurdistan President met the representatives of the main parties and movements in Kurdistan Region, discussing the suspended issues between Baghdad and Arbil, including the implementation of Article 140 of the Iraqi Constitution and the settlement of the issue of the Oil & Gas Law,” Mohammed Towfiq told IraqiNews.com news agency.   He said the meeting, attended by Barzani and representatives of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), was also attended by the Kurdish opposition Goran (Change) Movement, the Kurdistan Islamic League and the Kurdistan Islamic Group, as well as the other Kurdish political forces.   SKH (IT)   507
