Barzani, Japanese Ambassador discuss developing common relations

Arbil (IraqiNews.com) The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, and the Japanese Ambassador to Iraq, Susumu Hasikawa, stressed that “The political stability prepare good atmosphere for the reconstruction process.”

A statement by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan cited “Barzani received on Wednesday in Salah il-Din Resort, the Japanese Ambassador in Iraq Susumu Hasikawa on occasion of ending his office in Iraq. The meeting discussed the mutual relations between the Kurdistan Region and Japan.”

“Both of the Kurdistan Region President and the Japanese Ambassador agreed that the political calmness creates suitable ground for the construction process and that Kurdistan Region is qualified for this process,” the statement added.

“The Ambassador expressed Japan’s willingness to offer the Japanese expertise to the Region in all domains,” the statement mentioned.

“For his side, Barzani praised Hasikawa’s role in promoting the bilateral relations between the Region and Japan, stressing Kurdistan Region’s readiness to provide all facilitations for the Japanese projects,” the statement concluded.
