Barzani, Kurdish figures from Turkey discuss bilateral relations

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, and a delegation of Kurdish famous figures from Turkey discussed bilateral relations between Kurdistan Region and Turkey on Wednesday.

A statement by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan received by IraqiNews.com cited “Barzani received the delegation that involved Kurdish figures from Turkey at his office and they discussed bilateral relations between Kurdistan Region and Turkey that recently witnessed developments in all aspects.”

“The delegation praised the experiment of Kurdistan Region,” the statement added, stressing that “Both sides tackled the democratic openness in Turkey.”

“They assured that the democratic openness in Turkey will help in achieving the rights of the Kurds in Turkey,” the statement concluded.
