Barzani, Nijaifi discuss political updates
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, and the head of the Speaker Osama al-Nijaifi, discussed the political updates in Iraq and stressed the necessity of resorting to the constitution to settle the pending issues.
A statement by the Website of the of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan cited “Barzani and Nijaifi met, at Salah-il-Din resort on Monday,,” noting that “Both sides assured that Iraq undergoes a critical phase which requires the cooperation of all sides to reach settlement for all the pending issues to protect the democratic regime.”
The head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, is currently in Erbil, conducting discussion with Barzani over the latest political updates.
