Barzani stresses importance of amending Judicial Authority Law of Kurdistan Region

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The Premier of Kurdistan Regional Government, Nijirvan Barzani, stressed “The necessity of amending the Law of the Judicial Authority,” assuring that Kurdistan RegionG will work seriously to support the judicial system to keep it away from the political interferences.”

A statement by Kurdistan RegionG received by IraqiNews.com cited “Barzani met with the Judicial Council on Sunday, assuring the government agreement on the demands of the Council that erecting a building for the Council and for the cassation courts in addition to appointing a coordinator between the Council and the Council of Ministers of Kurdistan RegionG.”

“Barzani expressed the government support for the judicial institute in Kurdistan Region,” the statement concluded.
