Barzani, Turkish Deputy PM discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier of Kurdistan Regional Government, Nijirvan Barzani, and the Turkish Deputy Premier, Bashir Atalay, discussed bilateral relations and the political and security situation in Iraq and the Region.

A statement by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan cited “Barzani and the accompanied delegation met the Turkish deputy PM during his visit to Turkey,” noting that “They discussed the situation in the border areas between Kurdistan Region and Turkey.”

“Both sides stressed that the security issue is joint issue that should be based on common interests,” the statement concluded.
