Basra governor meets tribes minister

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Basra Governor, Shaltagh Abboud al-Mayah, discussed on Tuesday with State Minister for tribes affairs, Mohammad al-Ureibi, the central government’s support of Basra, according to an official statement. “The governor met on Tuesday (Jan. 26) with the minister, who is visiting the province to be acquainted with the developments in it,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The meeting tackled the central government’s support to the province to enable it provide its residents with all possible services,” it added.
