Batiekh calls for holding TV debate between Ministers of Electricity of FG, Kurdistan RegionG

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretary General of the White bloc, Jamal al-Batiekh, called to “Hold a TV debate between the Ministers of Electricity of the Federal Government and the Kurdistani Regional Government.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “It is necessary for Iraqis to realize the reason behind the electricity shortage or the failure of the Electricity Ministry of the FG to supply the provinces with electric power while the Ministry of electricity of Kurdistan RegionG managed to do that in Kurdistan Region.”

“Supplying the electricity in Kurdistan Region reaches 22 hours per day while in Baghdad and other provinces electricity power is supplied for less than six hours per day,” he added.

He stressed “The necessity of following up the performance of the Ministry by the supervisory sides to discover the reasons behind the failure of the Ministry.”
