Bazoni expects replacing Talabani if he rejects withdrawing confidence from Maliki

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The independent MP within the Iraqi National Alliance, Jawad al-Bazoni, expected “Replacing the President, Jalal Talabani, if he does not submitted a request to the parliament to withdraw confidence from the cabinet of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Among the decisions of Erbil five-sided meeting was calling Talabani to submit a request to the parliament to withdraw confidence from Maliki if INA fails in replacing him.”

“I think that Talabani is embarrassed due to this request so he submitted his resignation to the Kurdistani Regional Government,” he mentioned.

“If the political blocs insisted on withdrawing confidence from Maliki, Talabani will try to avoid the embarrassment,” he noted.

“In my opinion, Talabani could be replaced by another figure within 30 days according to the constitution,” he concluded.
