Bin Hilli: Holding Arab Summit in Baghdad to restore its normal position

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy of Secretary General of the Arab League, Ahmed Bin Hilli, pointed out that “Holding the Arab Summit in Baghdad at this crucial stage will restore its normal position among the Arab capitals.”

He stated in a press conference after the end of the Arab Ministers of Foreign Affairs’ meeting “This Summit is important and holding it in Baghdad has a great importance because Baghdad as a cultural place belongs to the world rather than to Iraq only.”

“The atmosphere of the FMs’ meeting was positive where all sides expressed their happiness and adherence to the decision that will be announced by the Summit on next Thursday.”

Arab FMs started meeting on Wednesday noon by discussing the Palestinian case, Arabic-Israeli conflict and the situation in Somalia and Yemen in a closed session.
