Blocs within INA call for urgent meeting

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Four Blocs and parties within the Iraqi National Alliance called for an urgent meeting to discuss the current developments and the bases that were set to form the INA.

A statement received by IraqiNews.com was signed by the MPs Amir al-Kinani from Ahrar Bloc, Hussein al-Marabi from Fadhila Party, Ali Thamir from Tadhamun Bloc and Ahmed al-Chalabi from the Iraqi National Congress.

The statement mentioned the reasons for calling to hold an urgent meeting, saying “The critical political and security conditions that face Iraq urge us to discuss many issues, including the arrest warrants issued against some MPs who are members of INA and rejecting the law projects adopted by the Alliance at the Council of Ministers.”

“These steps disturb the harmony on which the Alliance was formed, so we call to hold an urgent meeting for INA to discuss these developments and strengthen the bases of the Alliance,” the statement concluded.
