Bolani suggests distributing Supplementary budget directly among poor families

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Jawad al-Bolani, called to distribute “The Supplementary budget of 2012 among the poor families directly.”

Bolani said “Ratifying 2012 Supplementary budget is useless as the Parliament prepares to discuss the general budget for 2013 which we call to present it to the Parliament for discussion so as to complete it in a timely manner.”

“Therefore I think it is better to distribute it directly among the poor families to meet the shortage of what they need,”

“In case they could not achieve, this it’s possible to add the Supplementary budget to the general budget of the next year, calling for the need to preserve good financial revenues that help Iraq to face the future challenges in light of the circumstances surrounding the region besides threats to close Hurmoz Strait in front of the Iraqi navy that may affect the oil exports especially with the lack of exportation outlets,” he concluded.

In its last session, the Parliament finished the first reading of the Supplementary budget of 2012.
