Urgent – Maliki receives two letters from Iranian President, his Vice

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, received two letters from the Iranian Foreign Minister who arrived in Baghdad on Sunday.

The Iranian Mehr News Agency (IraqiNews.com) reported “The Iranian FM, Mohammed Jawad Dharif, handed over two letters to Maliki where the first one is from the Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani, and his Vice, Ishaq Jahanjeri.”

“Maliki, while meeting Dharif, congratulated the new Iranian government for assuming its tasks and discussed the latest updates in the region,” the Agency concluded.
