Urgent – .MP: Arrest warrants issued against 2 Deputy Ministers

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Othman al-Jihishi, confirmed that “Arrest warrants were issued against two Deputy Ministers within the Ministry of Agriculture for charges related to administrative and financial corruption.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Anbar Governor, Qasim al-Fahdawi, who is accused with corruption cases, presented a financial bail but this bail will not keep him away from the legal procedures against him concerning other files.”

Earlier, the Integrity Parliamentary Committee announced that “The Iraqi judicial sides issued imprisonment verdicts against former and current key officials including the former Trade Minister, Abdul Falah al-Sodani.”
