Urgent – Parliament chairmanship, leaders of blocs meet

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Chairmanship of the Parliament held a meeting with the leaders of the blocs to discuss several law drafts.

Parliamentary source reported to IraqiNews.com on Tuesday “A meeting was held by the Chairmanship of the Iraqi Parliament with the leaders and heads of political blocs in the Council to discuss various law drafts expected to be endorsed during the next phase.”

The source added that “The meeting will also discuss several law drafts such as the Federal Court, Judiciary Council and forming the Council of Commissioners for the Independent High Electoral Commission in addition to the proposal of amending some items of the Provincial Elections law.”
